In einem fensterlosen Raum temporäre Hörfenster zu installieren, ist naheliegend als Ausgangspunkt für dieses Projekt. Die Fenster in beide Richtungen zu öffnen, das Hören und das Gehörtwerden zu verbinden, wurde hier zum zweiten Ausgangspunkt. Aus diesem Grundgedanken entstanden einzelne Hörfenster, die zwischen Hörbildern, Kurzhörspielen, Soundwalks und Klangbeobachtungen wechseln (Lautsprecher); dazwischen thematisch fokussierte musikalische und textliche Interventionen (live), verbunden durch leise, akustisch fragile Passagen. Optisch werden unterschiedliche „Fenster“ in den Raum gefügt: an den Wänden Textilarbeiten, einmal Partitur, einmal Gedicht, die weitere Zugänge zum Hören eröffnen. Im Raum einzelne Fensterobjekte. Das Projekt fand im Factory, Künstlerhaus, März 2024 statt.

Installing temporary windows in a windowless room is an obvious starting point for a project named Hörfenster, or “listening windows”. Opening the windows in both directions, joining the acts of hearing and being heard, became the second starting point. Evolving from this seed of an idea, different Hörfenster were created that alternate between audio images, short radio plays, sound walks, and sound observations (loudspeakers). These are mingled with focussed musical and spoken interventions (live), connected by quiet, acoustically fragile passages. Visually, different “windows” open in the room: textile works on the walls show a musical score, a poem, which open up further ways to access listening. The formats of these works align with the dimensions of the walls of the Factory. There are various window objects in the room. The project took place in the Factory, Künstlerhaus, in March 2024.
